Meet Our Team

The Jamaica Environment Trust (JET) has a small and vibrant team.

Dr. Theresa Rodriguez-Moodie

She went on to complete her PhD in Geography (with High Commendation) at the University of the West Indies, Mona. Prior to joining JET in 2021 Theresa worked as an Environmental Consultant on projects both locally and regionally, for private sector, government and multilateral agencies. In her over 10 years of experience she developed specific skills in conducting environmental assessments, hazard analysis and mitigation, climate vulnerability and risk assessments. Since leaving the private sector and joining JET as its Chief Executive Officer, she has been leading its environmental advocacy and working on projects geared towards the protection of Jamaica’s natural resources and public health.
